Loved it on a wrist test and bought a 2 ml decant; one large spray before the gym was far too much, with huge projection and a headache after about 30 minutes, though it smells amazing and their girlfriend liked it.
“The projection on this thing is ridiculous. I'm on the treadmill in my own strong scent cloud, constantly worrying what the runners either side of me are thinking.”
Calls the scent perfect for them and wouldn't change a thing, but testing it in store they could barely smell it after a few minutes and are looking for something similar that lasts longer.

Doesn't like Stronger With You Intensely, saying it smells like a bag of nuts.
Tried decants of Aventus, Green Irish Tweed and Silver Mountain Water: found Silver Mountain Water unpleasant and not for them, while Aventus and GIT are very good but not worth the price.
Blind-bought it on the hype and calls it probably their worst blind-buy mistake; doesn't think it is worth it.
Got tired of it after a month and is glad they bought the smallest bottle; now only wears it before bed.
Has tried the whole Acqua di Giò and Profondo line and owns only the original EDT, the Elixir and the Profondo Parfum; calls the original EDT king.
Owns Profumo and compared it side by side with a friend's Acqua di Giò Parfum: similar, but they would rather go out of their way to find Profumo.
Profondo EDP has earned them the most compliments of any fragrance, followed by Valentino Coral Fantasy.
Tried it at a duty-free shop and liked it a lot; it didn't last as long as the Parfum Intense but seems more versatile as a daily scent.
“On the one hand the EDP was really good but it didnt last as long but I guess it will be more versatile in terms of using it as a daily as opposed to just for special occasions.”
Owns Hacivat X alongside Aventus and Absolu Aventus; likes it, finds it a little more screechy than Aventus but longer-lasting.
“i have hacivat x, as well as aventus and absolu aventus. i like hacivat x, but it is a little more screechy than aventus. i find it lasts longer than aventus.”
Bought a decant and can barely smell it on themselves, unsure whether it is their nose or the fragrance.
Likes the original Prada L'Homme but wishes it projected and performed a little better.
About to buy their third bottle: an amazing fragrance with good longevity at a low price. Warns it is so common in their small town, winter and summer, that it won't make you unique.

Wore a gifted sample, their first time with any Bleu de Chanel. It smelled reasonably good at first, but within an hour developed a strong fishy, seaweed note over bright citrus and peppery musk, and after the first wear they don't like it.
“By the end BDC had developed a strong fishy/seaweed note. I had smelled this note on a contractor a few weeks prior, and it bothered me that I didn't ask what he was wearing at the time.”
Owns a 3 oz bottle of Libre Intense that they love and have refilled a couple of times; for other fragrances they now start with samples and decants.
Chose it for a day in the office as a soothing scent and finds it very calming. Layers it with a roll-on perfume oil from Oil Perfumery to extend it and can still smell it after seven hours.
“This fragrance is so calming to me, I use it with the roll on perfume oil from Oil Perfumery to extend it and I can still smell it after 7 hours.”
Wore it as scent of the day and enjoys it as a Western take on oud: the oud is restrained, with dry cedar, sandalwood and spices carrying it. Finds it smooth, refined and luxurious without being challenging, and a good first step into oud.
“Despite the name, the oud is fairly restrained, with the dry cedar, sandalwood and spices doing much of the heavy lifting. It’s a smooth, refined fragrance that feels luxurious without being particularly challenging.”
Wore it for the third time in a week and says they love it for its warm, comforting tobacco-vanilla feel on a cold, sunny day.
“I’m choosing PARFUMS de Marly - Herod for the third time in a week. I just love this fragrance so much. The warm confirtable feeling from tge Tabacco Vanilla is do good.”
Wore the EDP as their scent of the day. Finds it a fantastic-smelling take on Bleu de Chanel EDP, though not identical, and still prefers it to the Iconic Extrait.
“SOTD - Armaf Club de Nuit Iconic EDP While there are obviously differences, this is a fantastic smelling interpretation of Bleu de Chanel EDP. I'm still liking it more than Iconic Extrait.”
Counts it among their best fragrance buys of the year, alongside Profumum Roma Sabbia Bianca; to them it smells sparkling and ethereal.
Kept it while trimming their collection down to fragrances they love. Describes a beautiful iris with a chocolate-nutty side that feels intimate and sexy, though they find it somewhat redundant with Alexandria Fragrances Dark Knight.
“Another beautiful Iris, I feel like it is redundant with Dark knight but oh well. It really does feel like something that a gentleman would wear, very intimate while being sexy. I just love a choclate-nutty fragrance.”
Calls it a wonderful scent. To them it smells of root beer and licorice, while their wife smells roasting marshmallows and Christmas in it.

Blind-bought a 150 ml bottle (2024 batch) and wore it for five days. Finds the opening almost pure orange, then says it fades to almost nothing after about 20 minutes and is gone within an hour, far weaker than the other versions of the line.
“When I first received it, the opening was nothing but orange, orange, and even more orange. After about 20 minutes, the scent practically disappears and becomes as faint as a fart in the wind.”
Can smell their own bottle for almost six hours when wearing it, and suggests nose-blindness or a fake when someone finds it fades fast.
The Profondo EDP gave them headaches, worse than Acqua di Giò Parfum, which also did; they found online they're not the only one.
Wore it at their wedding and calls it amazing: an iris-led, manly floral they can still smell more than 24 hours later. Lists it among fragrances that last a long time from two sprays without costing much.
“Prada l'homme is also amazing I got married in it, iris notes smells like the perfect manly floral fragrance and can smell it well after 24 hours....”
Barely wore it at first because it didn't last long, then let the bottle rest for six months; it is now stronger, smoother and deeper, still bourbon, apple pie and vanilla ice cream, and their everyday winter scent.
“I let it sit on my shelf for 6 months and let it do its thing. It’s so far stronger now, smoother. Deeper. Still smells like bourbon and apple pie filling with vanilla ice cream.”
Their favourite evening scent and go-to for dates or a night in with their wife; they can smell it for at least five to six hours and nothing in their large collection compares.
“My favourite scent is DHI for the evening, it’s my go to if I am going on a date or having a night in with my wife. I can smell this for at least 5-6 hours easily.”
Has worn it for two years as a special-occasion signature scent in a hot country: rich, creamy apple pie with vanilla and honey that draws compliments from women and men. One or two sprays last over 12 hours on skin, and it keeps getting stronger.
“Get a lot of compliments from the ladies and male friends. •One spray on cloth will last for weeks. •1-2 sprays on skin is enough , longevity 12+ hours.”
So taken with it that they finish a bottle in four months, before it can macerate. Wore it through summer without problems; to them it smells like a stronger Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62.
“The only downside of this fragrance is that I can’t get it to the macerated version of it cause I am so obsessed with it I finish it in 4 months.”
Has worn it a lot and is almost through the bottle after only a month, but has never had a single compliment on it.
Tried it and found it far too sweet and feminine for them; recommends getting a sample before buying.
A woman who blind-bought it to wear herself: great, but very strong, so two or three sprays away from the neck are enough. Calls it great value and is happy with the purchase.
“It is great but it is a beast and only needs 2 or 3 sprays and away from the neck or upper body. it is a great bang for the bucks and I am happy with this blind buy.”
Wears it as a fall and winter scent and gets compliments non-stop; taking their nine-month-old bottle out again when the weather cooled earned constant compliments at work.
“Now that the weather has cooled down i just took my 9 month old bottle out from the back and wore it last Tuesday and woah the compliments at work were non stop .”
Gets plenty of compliments with it and kept wearing it through March and April in cool, rainy Tbilisi, where it felt especially comforting.

Has owned a bottle for about a year and says it has grown stronger and better with time: now very long-lasting and sweet, with all the listed notes coming through.
